This page explains what mindmechanix.app and the MindMechanix member app store in your browser, and why. The honest summary: very little, nothing for advertising, and nothing that follows you around the web.
What we don't do
No advertising cookies or trackers.
No third-party analytics scripts.
No selling or sharing of browsing data.
What we store, and why
We use browser storage (session storage and local storage) rather than classic cookies, and only for things the Service needs to work:
On the website (mindmechanix.app): while you move through the signup steps, your first name, email and mobile number are kept for that browser tab only, and cleared when you close it. A small counter remembers how many free sessions you've run today so the page can show it.
In the member app (the Hub and Vault): your sign-in token, so you stay signed in on that device for up to 30 days or until you sign out. Your unlocked Vault key is held only in memory while the Vault is open, and is cleared when you lock it, sign out, close the tab, or after 15 quiet minutes. It is never written to storage.
These are strictly necessary for the Service, so they don't require consent under cookie laws, and there is no banner to click. Sign out to clear the sign-in token; closing the tab clears the rest.
Third parties
Our pages load typefaces from Google Fonts, so Google receives your network address when a page loads; Google Fonts doesn't set cookies. Payment pages are hosted by Stripe, which uses its own cookies to process payments and prevent fraud; see Stripe's privacy policy for details.
Your browser
You can clear storage or block it in your browser settings at any time. If you block storage for the member app, you'll need to sign in on each visit.
Changes
If we start using anything beyond what's described here, we'll update this page and the date at the top first.
